After 20 years designing under her own label, Jennifer George - and her business partner David Rubin - shuttered their business in the late '90s and began assisting high-end design companies liquidate their end of season merchandise. Two decades later, Jen-X Sample Sales has grown into a discreet, high volume, turn-key service for our vendors and the ultimate discount shopping experience for our customers.

Today's Jen-X Sample Sale team is comprised of Jennifer George, Deb Burton Calagna and Zora Ginsburg, along with their highly experienced sales staff. Our vendor list has grown over the years, and we now run approximately 9 offerings per calendar year that in their aggregate yield over $5M in sales. We work closely with each of our luxury designer vendors to create a unique environment and customer base suited to their product.

We have a seasoned local customer-base as well as clients from around the country who fly in for our events. We pride ourselves on exclusivity and we do not share our lists, or even the names of our vendors. And while our client list has expanded to include thousands of names, our Management and Sales staff strive to create a personal shopping experience, forging relationships and trust with both long term and new customers.

Our sales are held in New York City and take place throughout the school year.
